Conical countersink HSS-G for deburring and precise countersinking of drilled holes in metal, aluminum, and sheet metal. The conical cutting geometry provides smooth and controlled material removal for clean countersinks with minimal burrs and a professional finish. The countersink features 3 cutting edges, a 31mm diameter, and a cylindrical shank.

The countersink is used to create a conical contact surface for countersunk screw heads, as well as for deburring and chamfering drilled holes. The high-speed steel (HSS-G) construction provides good cutting performance and wear resistance when machining metal.

It is a practical tool for workshops, assembly, installation, and other tasks where drilled holes need to be deburred or countersunk.

AREA OF APPLICATION

The conical countersink HSS-G is used for countersinking, deburring, and chamfering of drilled holes. It is suitable, for example, when a countersunk screw head needs to sit flush with the material surface or when sharp edges and burrs after drilling need to be removed.

Suitable for machining materials including:

  • Steel
  • Sheet metal
  • Aluminum
  • Plastic

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is a conical countersink used for?
It is primarily used to countersink drilled holes so that countersunk screw heads can sit flush with the material surface. It can also be used for deburring and chamfering.

Can the countersink be used in metal?
Yes. HSS-G is intended for metalworking and is suitable for steel, aluminum, and other metals.

Can I use it to remove burrs after drilling?
Yes. A conical countersink is very suitable for removing burrs and sharp edges around drilled holes.

What does HSS-G mean?
HSS stands for High Speed Steel. G indicates that the tool is ground, which provides precise cutting geometry and good cutting performance.
