Single block 16mm stand-up | Master Dinghy
Dinghy is Master’s smallest product series of ball-bearing blocks, perfect for control lines on dinghies and smaller sailboats. The sheave is 16 mm with stainless steel ball bearings, which provides low friction and smooth rotation. The side plate is made of acid-proof stainless steel A4/316 for high weather resistance and maximum strength.
AREA OF USE
The stand-up design ensures the block remains upright on the deck and does not strike the deck when the line is slack. The block is suitable for, among other things:
- Mainsail systems, headsails, and spinnakers
- Halyards, vangs, and backstays
- Control lines for boats of all sizes

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
What line diameter fits the block?
The block has a 16 mm sheave and fits lines up to 6 mm in diameter.
What is the difference between working load and breaking load?
The working load is the load the block is intended to be used with continuously. The breaking load is the load at which the block will fail and should never be used as a design value.
Does the block need maintenance?
The ball bearings normally do not require lubrication. We recommend rinsing the block with fresh water after use in salt water so that salt and dirt do not accumulate in the bearings.
