Dyneema is a form of HMPE fiber, short for High Modulus PolyEthylene, also known as Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMwPE). Dyneema undergoes a production process that refines the HMPE fiber by stretching and twisting it at different temperatures, resulting in unparalleled strength and minimal elongation. The line is treated with a polyurethane resin (PU coating), which provides protection against UV radiation and abrasion.
